Storyboarding and motion graphics project: Autumn 2023

Schlumberger were holding a consultation about proposed changes to their pension plan and wanted to create a short video to help communicate the changes clearly.
Stage 1: Script
I completed the project from the scripting stage through to the final animation stage. This involved distilling a lot of information into a friendly, easy-to-follow script.
Stage 2: Storyboarding
I then creating a storyboard using this following their brand guidelines. This required incorporating specific colour palettes, fonts, and visual styles throughout the entire process. During the storyboard development phase, I had to ensure clarity in presenting the pension plan details but also integrate animation concepts to enhance the communication of information.
Stage 3: Animation
Using animations, infographics, and visual cues, I created a dynamic and engaging visual narrative that brought the proposed changes to life. The animation concepts were tailored to clearly convey complex information, making it more accessible and understandable for Schlumberger employees.
The completed animation was very successful and had high viewing figures.
